TENDER NOTICE

ESCI invites tenders for the Construction of Testing Laboratories (4 Nos.) at an estimated contract value of about Rs. 95.00 lakhs at ESCI Campus, Gachibowli, Old Bombay Road, Hyderabad within a period of 6 months.

 

Civil contractors registered as class II and above and have executed building works, minimum one single work valued at Rs. 150 lakhs and group works of Rs. 300 lakhs and above in any financial year during the last 3 financial years i.e. 2010-11 to 2012-13 and also dealt with RCC Buildings, Fabricated structures, are only eligible to apply.

 

Tender schedules may be obtained from Chief Project Coordinator, ESCI, Gachibowli by paying a sum of Rs. 5,000/-(non-refundable) in the form of DD drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of “ IE(I) – Engineering Staff College of India” payable at Hyderabad from 10.30 AM to 05.00 PM on all working days from 07.06.2013 to 11.06.2013.

 

Pre-bid meeting will be held on 13/06/2013 at 11.30 AM at ESCI Campus, with the prospective tenderers on receipt of request in advance for any clarifications from the respective tenderers.

They shall submit in the prescribed format covering the following details in technical bid:

 

1) Details of Establishment; Biodata and details of Registration, 2) List of works carried out till date with details of project cost, duration of work, photographs of the works executed, 3) IT returns for the last 3 years, 4) Solvency certificate issued by the EE countersigned by SE in case of Govt. works or equivalent Officers of PSUs works 5) Details of qualified manpower, 6) List of plant and machinery, 7) Sales tax / work contract tax, registration papers.

 

All attested copies of the above shall be enclosed to the technical bid.

 

Tenderers are requested to submit the tenders on or before 03.00 PM on 15.06.2013  in two separate sealed covers i.e. Technical Bid in cover ‘A’ and price bid in cover ‘B’ with the name of work on both the covers.  These two covers are to be put in the 3rd cover along with covering letter and E.M.D. in the form of crossed DD for Rs. 1.25 lakhs drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of “IE (I) – Engineering Staff College of India” payable at Hyderabad.

 

Cover A - Technical Bid shall be opened on 15.06.2013 at 3.30PM in the presence of bidders present chose to attend and Cover B - Financial Bid of technically qualified responsive bidders shall be opened on 18.06.2013 at 3.00PM in the presence of bidders chose to attend.

 

ESCI reserves the right to accept or reject any Tender without assigning any reason.

Interactive Session for the newly elected Chairmen and Hony Secretaries of all IEI State / Local Centres for the session 2012-13 was held at ESCI Campus on 09 Feb 2013.  64 members from all over India have participated in the Session.

The objective of the session was to apprise the newly elected Chairmen / Hony. Secretaries about the Profiles of IEI & ESCI, Bye-laws, Regulations and Election Procedures of IEI for effective conduct of the activities

08 Feb 13 Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) conducted a 5 days National Programme for Technologists and Scientists from (04-08) Feb 2013 under the theme “Creativity and Innovation Management in Research” which has been sponsored by Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.

As a part of the programme “DIVERSITY” a cultural fest was organized. The purpose of this fest was to showcase creativity and innovation through our Indian culture/traditions through various dances and Skit performances by student artists who were all budding engineers.
