International Net Work for Professional Engineers’ Development Institutes (INPEDI) was constituted by following founding members

  • The International Science, Technology & Innovative Centre for South – South Cooperation under the Auspices of UNESCO (ISTIC)
  • Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI)
  • The Institution of  Engineers Malaysia Training Centre (IEMTC)
  • The Engineers Registration Board, Kenya (ERB Kenya)
  • Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
  • The Engineers Registration Board, Tanzania (ERB Tanzania)


The Objectives of INPEDI are:

  • Exchange of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programmes amongst the members.
  • Participation of engineers/executives in the training programmes of members.
  • Participation of faculty in the training programmes of members.
  • Accreditation of CPD programmes of members
  • Organizing INPEDI regional CPD programmes
  • Mutual Cooperation among members in engineering & technological human expertise development in member countries.

INPEDI has been constituted to raise level of competence of professional engineering and capacity building of global engineering community through continuing professional development. INPEDI would help transfer of knowledge and exchange of expertise in order to raise the level of engineering for development in the world especially the developing world

The global secretariat of INPEDI is Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Hyderabad, India. The Chief executive of INPEDI is the Director General of ESCI.
