Job Description:

 

1. Senior Faculty

   a.  Qualification & Experience:

Ph D or First Class ME / M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with experience of 15-25 years of academic or industrial or combination of both in top-level position as ENC / Chief Engineer / CEO / Director in industry.  Must have published research papers in renowned journals and experience of working for Donor Agencies, Development Banks, UN Organizations.

  b.    Age:    45-62 Years*

  c.   Salary: Consolidated monthly salary/remuneration of Rs.50,000/-

Note:   Waiver in respect of qualification, age relaxation and salary fixation will be considered if the candidate has adequate experience and professional competency which is suitable for the respective domain areas.

  d.   Duties & Responsibilities:

The Sr. Faculty will be acting as HoD and shall play a key role in successful branding and conduct of the Continuing Professional Development Programmes (CPDPs), Specific Training Programmes (STPs), Consultancy and Research Projects.  Shall formulate the programme's curriculum by attracting the best faculty, mentoring middle-level faculty, junior faculty and providing direction to research in the relevant subject areas.

  1. a               Finalization of divisional academic calendar of CPDPs for every FY:   Keeping the latest technological developments and stakeholders in view, shall design and successfully conduct CPDPs.
  2.             Marketing - Design and develop marketing strategies for each CPDP / STP / Consultancy & Research Projects and do marketing with high officials of corporate / stakeholder organizations.
  3.                Specific Training Programmes (STPs) - Exploring the clientele specific training requirements, design and conduct STPs   
  4.     Research & Development 
    1. Identify the areas of expertise (internal & external)
    2. Explore Research & Consultancy assignments in relevant areas
    3. Preparation and submission of tenders/quotations
    4. Attend preliminary meetings with presentations (as required)
    5. Execution of the assignments as per prescribed standards adhering to the timeframe
    6. Submission of the draft report
    7. Submission of final DPR
  5.   Realization of payments 
  6.   Performance assessment of faculty and support staff of the division
  7.   Publish Research Papers in National / International Journal
  8.   Design and organize National / International Seminars / Conferences

2. Faculty

 a.  Qualification & Experience:

First / Second Class ME / M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with experience of 10-15 years in academic or industrial or combination of both in middle-level positions equivalent to Supdtg. Engineer / Addl. / Asst. General Manager / Assoc. Professor.   Must have published research papers in renowned journals.

b.    Age:    35 – 45 Years

c.    Salary:           Consolidated monthly salary/remuneration of Rs.40,000/-

Note:  Waiver in respect of qualification, age relaxation and salary fixation will be considered if the candidate has adequate experience and professional competency which is suitable for the respective domain areas.

d. Duties & Responsibilities:

The faculty shall coordinate with HoD in successful branding and conduct of the Continuing Professional Development Programmes (CPDPs), Specific Training Programmes (STPs), Consultancy and Research Projects and in formulating the curriculum, exploring subject experts, mentoring junior faculty and other support staff. 

    i. Finalization of divisional academic calendar of CPDPs for every FY:  Coordinate with HoD in designing and finalizing divisional academic calendar of

       ii. Marketing:- 

  1.    Carry out the 2nd level of marketing for each of the CPDPs / STPs / Consultancy & Research Projects until realization. 
  2.    Research market/industry trends in identify the learning needs ensuring maximum participation in the programs. 
  3.    Interact with counterparts in training departments of clients and alumni of the CPDPs, for gathering data as part of marketing.
  4.    Shall periodically interact with client’s training / HR departments/participants directly to resolve their program-related queries. 
  5.    Must be able to design, develop and deliver short-term training/induction programmes as per client’s requirement.     
  6.   CPDPs: Shall coordinate in identifying core faculty for each CPDP, preparation of course material, presentations, and time table
  7.   STPs: Shall coordinate with HoD in designing the STPs as per Client’s requirement, identifying the core faculty, finalization of course material, presentation and time table.  

  iii.        Research & Development

  1.          Identify the areas of expertise (internal & external)
  2.          Explore Research & Consultancy assignments in relevant areas

3. Chief – Finance & Accounts

a.     Qualification:

CA Inter / ICWA Inter / M.Com with proficiency in the latest version of Tally package operation and competency in handling all statutory financial operations. Preference will be given to the applicants possessing CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter) with Tally Package.

b.      Experience:

20 -25 years at senior level gained in both public & private sectors and multi-national organizations. 

c.     Age:               Below 55 - 62 Years

d.    Salary:           Consolidated monthly salary/remuneration of Rs.40,000/-

e.    Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and execution of all financial activities that help to achieve the goals of the institution while ensuring financial growth.
  2. Authorize all financial activities in accordance with the ESCI Statutes and Financial guidelines, complying with relevant statutes and laws relating to financial operations including finalization of accounts.
  3. To coordinate with divisions in the collection of fees against CPDPs, STPs and consultancy projects and the issue of receipts.
  4. Arrangement for payment of all financial transactions including salaries and honorarium for faculty.
  5. Providing financial resources as per the requirement.
  6. Liaison with external agencies / Auditors / Legal advisors on matters relating to statutory and regulatory requirements. (GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI)
  7. Comply with tax deductions  and  tax consultations as per  the tax laws
  8. Any other duties as assigned by the Competent authority
